Securing the Future

through Vigilance

At Matlabas Protection Connection, we take pride in operating one of the most extensive private camera networks in South Africa. Our commitment to bolstering security and conservation efforts has led to partnerships with numerous companies, landowners, nature reserves, and organizations, all contributing to the continuous expansion of our ever-growing network.

Ensuring Network Integrity

Maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our network is paramount. All relevant parties seeking to join our network undergo a stringent vetting process, register their participation, and receive comprehensive training. This rigorous approach guarantees that our network remains a robust and cohesive force dedicated to the safety and conservation of our precious natural resources.

Join Us in Creating a Secure Environment

How it Works #1

Identification of Suspicious or

Flagged Vehicles:

The ANPR network is programmed to recognize suspicious or flagged vehicles based on predetermined criteria. This may include vehicles associated with criminal activity, unauthorized access, or other security concerns.

How it Works #2

Vehicle Enters the Area:

The ANPR cameras are strategically positioned across the designated areas, which include both the Limpopo region with 338 cameras and the North West region with 124 cameras. These cameras continuously monitor vehicle traffic within their respective zones.

How it Works #3

ANPR Camera Captures

Number Plate:

When a vehicle passes through the camera's field of view, it captures an image of the vehicle's number plate using advanced optical character recognition technology.

Link to Software System:

The captured number plate data is then immediately transmitted to a sophisticated software system designed to process and analyze the information. This software is equipped with the capability to compare the captured number plates with a database of flagged or suspicious vehicles.

How it Works #5

Immediate Alert Notification:

If a match is found between the captured number plate and the database of suspicious vehicles, the software system triggers an immediate alert. This alert can be send to the relevant parties to take appropriate action and also alert other role players where necessary. The alert includes the location, date, and time of the vehicle's entry, enabling swift action to be taken.
